Thailand Bareboat Charter - Top places to visit: Coral Island
If you are on a Thailand bareboat charter then one of our top places to visit would be Coral Island.
Coral Island is known locally as Koh Hae and it is a beautiful island surrounded by colourful coral reef as the name would suggest!
The island itself is situated only 9km southeast of Phuket and has two stretches of glorious white sandy beach, namely Long Beach and Banana Beach. On the other side of the island are quiet bays, perfect anchoring spots for your yacht.
Facilities and Activites
If you are venturing ashore then there are plenty of restaurants and bars located on both beaches to choose from.
There are also lots of water sports available, in the glorious translucent turquoise sea such as banana boats, canoeing and snorkelling, as well as parasailing from Long Beach.
It is even possible to have an open air massage in the pavilion on Long Beach!
There is the Coral Island Resort on the island from where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas, and you can take advantage of their facilities for a fee.
