A city shaped by centuries of maritime history, Portsmouth is an exciting stop on a Solent sailing adventure. Step ashore at the Historic Dockyard to see HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose, or head to Gunwharf Quays for waterfront restaurants, shopping and views from the Spinnaker Tower.

A favourite among visiting sailors, Lymington combines a picturesque harbour with cobbled streets, independent shops and a fantastic choice of restaurants and pubs. Explore the Saturday market, stroll along the waterfront or venture into the nearby New Forest for a change of scenery.

Sail up the beautiful Beaulieu River to Buckler’s Hard, a historic shipbuilding village surrounded by woodland and New Forest scenery. Wander along the riverside, discover its maritime heritage and enjoy a relaxed lunch before exploring nearby Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum.
