With its design that emphasizes wide open living spaces, the Bali 4.8 incorporates the most popular innovations of Bali Catamarans. Its rigid forward platform that turns the foredeck into a useful living area, the ‘garage door’ that allows the saloon to be used both indoors and outdoors, the door that provides easy passage between the rear and foredecks and the wide upper deck design create an open living area that is unprecedented in catamarans of its size.
Bali 4.8 has a door that allows access to the foredeck from the saloon and galley area. This door facilitates movement and communication within the boat, and makes access to the foredeck safe, especially when cruising. It also provides ease of service between the galley and the foredeck. This door and the large window that opens next to it, when the garage door is open at the stern of the boat, create a canyon effect and increase air circulation inside the boat. Thanks to this design, even in the hottest weather, the Bali 4.8’s saloon can be sat in without being affected by the heat.
The upper deck of the Bali 4.8 is also quite spacious. Easily accessible from both sides of the boat, this upper deck includes a helm station, an L-shaped seating area and a dining table.
If desired, Bali 4.8 also offers a 6-cabin option, which has not been seen in the 48 ft catamaran category so far. In addition, the boat’s two bow peaks have berths for the crew on one side and shower and toilet options on the other side.
To help you turn your meal times into a feast, Bali 4.8’s have a home-style, 615-liter capacity, refrigerator with a self-ice maker and water dispenser, and a freezer. In addition to the refrigerator, there is a large 4-burner stove and a wide oven option in the kitchen.
Bali 4.8s come standard with two 45 horsepower saildrive Yanmar engines. However, there is an option to upgrade to 57 or 80 horsepower. Average cruising speed is 8.5 knots, maximum cruising speed is 9.5 knots. Since the rudder blade is located at the stern, behind the propellers, maneuverability is quite high.
COMFORTABLE CABINS
The interior design of Bali 4.8 has been designed with a vision of maximum comfort. In 3 and 4 cabin setups, all beds are island beds and are positioned to face the side of the boat and of course the sea view. In this setup, in addition to the doors in the main corridors of the boat, the aft cabins have second doors that are lifted upwards and open to the stern of the boat. These doors support air circulation in the aft cabins and also facilitate the flow of movement inside the boat.
SMART CAMERA DESIGN
In double cabin hulls, each cabin has a private toilet and sink in one corner and a separate shower cabin in the other corner. Separating the shower cabin and toilet areas provides comfort when the cabins are used by two people.
LUXURY MASTER CABIN
In the 3-cabin setup, one hull forms a large ‘master cabin’, with a separate area for the toilet and washbasin, as well as a large bathroom area with a walk-in shower and two washbasins on a large countertop.
ENJOYMENT-FOCUSED AREAS
On Bali 4.8, you can spend your meal times in the saloon, on the front deck or on the upper deck. The dining tables and surrounding seating areas in all three areas allow you to enjoy the space you want whenever you want.
